Discover kid friendly hikes

Download now and discover amazing kid friendly trails added by parents and trail ambassadors.

With TrailCollectiv, you can know what to expect on a trail before reaching the trailhead.

We wanted to acknowledge that the hikes and nearby attractions on this site are located in traditional indigenous lands. For a map that is working towards showcasing the various lands visit Native Land.

How it works

Easily search, explore, and find kid friendly trails all across North America.

Search by park, city, or trail to find your next family hike. Then, explore the trails using map view or list view.

Featuring a 5 point rating system

Our 5 point rating system makes it easier to know which trail will be an amazing toddler led trail or the next family grind.

Safety is top of mind

Our trail ambassadors and contributors add in key information to help families find information like if the trail is uneven, steep, if you should bring along bear spray, or if there is a park or parking fee.

Fun is our top priority !

Tap on a trail to find out trail features, amenities, and even fun things to do. Know key information like if there is a spray park nearby, if a trail is all-terrain stroller or wheelchair accessible.

Favourite trails for later, get directions to the trailhead and complete a trail !

Favourite trails are saved to hike with your kids for later, directions get you there, and completing a trail lets you save any trail information you want to remember for next time!
